Disc Stack Centrifuge
Disc stack centrifuges are industrial centrifuges designed to separate solids from liquids, or one liquid from another, in suspensions and emulsions. Common applications include mineral oil purification, dairy separation, vegetable oil refining, pharmaceutical production, beverage clarification, and starch manufacturing. The disc stack separators can be configured to work alongside transfer pumps and automated process controls.
These disc stack centrifuges feature a high-speed vertical bowl fitted with layers of conical discs. As the material enters the bowl, centrifugal force sends components of different densities along different paths through the gaps between the discs. The heavier components move toward the outside of the bowl, while the lighter components move toward the center, enabling continuous separation.

- Stacked conical discs increase the effective settling area and suit fine particles and liquids of different densities
- Solids discharge configurable to manual, continuous nozzle, or automatic to suit the material
- Largely enclosed separation chamber, which reduces exposure of the material during operation
- Integration with feed, discharge, and control systems for continuous or automated operation
