Reverse Osmosis (RO) System

Reverse Osmosis (RO) System

The reverse osmosis (RO) system is used for industrial pure water production, boiler feed water, ultra-pure water for electronics, pharmaceutical purified water, beverage and drinking water production, seawater desalination, and reclaimed water reuse. As an industrial RO plant, this water treatment system removes dissolved salts, organic matter, bacteria, viruses, and other impurities to provide deep desalination and purification for pure and ultra-pure water supply.

The reverse osmosis system utilizes semipermeable membrane separation. Pressure higher than the natural osmotic pressure is applied on the feed side, ensuring that water molecules selectively pass through the semipermeable membrane while dissolved salts, organics, bacteria, and other impurities are retained. The membrane pore size is around 0.0001 μm, and in theory the membrane removes the vast majority of impurities from the water.
