Center-Flow Band Screen

Center-Flow Band Screen

The XLN-type center-flow band screen is a continuous fine screening device for solid-liquid separation in wastewater headworks treatment. As part of municipal and industrial wastewater equipment, it removes hair, fibers, flaky debris, and other small floating solids before they reach downstream treatment equipment.

The screen consists of a main frame, rotating perforated panels, a chain drive mechanism, a screenings discharge trough, a backwash system, and a control system. Wastewater enters at the center and flows from the inside out through the screen panels on both sides for dual-side filtration. Captured solids ride the panels to the top, are then rinsed off, and discharged into the screenings trough. The cleaned panels then return to the filtration zone for continuous solid-liquid separation.
